Case study · Client: a Texas real estate brokerage
Data integration and operational intelligence
Licensed data feeds turned into fast, accurate public search, with audits that prove every derived value matches its source.
- of VA-eligible homes visible to the VA financing filter
- 47% → 100%
- of VA-eligible homes visible to the VA financing filter
- homes where the filter and the source agree
- 10,345 / 10,345

The engagement
The client depends on large licensed real estate data feeds, with strict rules about what may be shown to the public and what must stay internal. We built continuous ingestion and normalization, separate governed lanes for public and internal data, and derived tables built for fast filtering.
Then we audit it. In October 2026 an audit found that a buyer filtering for homes that accept VA financing was seeing only 47% of the homes that actually qualified. The rest were silently missing because a derived table had stopped being updated. We traced the cause, rebuilt the derivation inside the ingestion path so it can never fall behind again, and backfilled 30,583 records.
After the fix the filter and the source agreed on every active single-family home: 10,345 of 10,345 for VA, 10,153 of 10,153 for FHA, 2,482 of 2,482 for Texas Veterans Land Board and 1,326 of 1,326 for USDA, with zero contradictions. Listing status and price were audited the same way and matched on all 13,489 homes.
- The challenge
- The business depends on large licensed data feeds with strict rules about what may be shown publicly and what must stay internal.
- What we built
- Continuous ingestion and normalization, separate governed data lanes for public and internal use, derived views for fast filtering, and audits that compare every derived value with its source.
- How it applies to your business
- Any business that relies on outside data feeds, licensed data or several internal systems that must agree.
